The IBEX CAPRA strategy invests in precious metals via listed exchange traded closed ended trusts. The strategy aims to benefit from long term price appreciation in precious metals. The strategy also allows for the investment into gold and silver miners to a maximum of 20% of the portfolio.
The exchange traded trusts invest in unencumbered, fully allocated, London Good for Delivery bars, which is stored at the Royal Canadian Mint, a Federal Crown Corporation of the Canadian Government.
The holdings are audited and the list published annually on the Trust’s website. The holdings of the Trust enjoy the full guarantee of the Canadian Federal Government (the Royal Canadian Mint is a Canadian Crown Corporation) whose obligation it is to insure gold.
